Karen Schneider

A native Angeleno and graduate of UCLA, Karen Schneider first entered the public relations arena as an assistant in the corporate division at Rogers & Cowan. After working on the GUESS? Jeans account, Karen moved in-house and became the company's PR director for almost three years. Following GUESS?, Karen became west coast PR manager for Reebok where she was responsible for securing media placement for such programs as the launch of Reebok Apparel and the Step Reebok sports program. While at Reebok, Karen met founding SnL partner Lori Newman and together they conceived the idea to open their own west coast PR fashion agency. Karen continues to pursue her philanthropic interests as a volunteer for LOVE ON 4 PAWS where she does animal assisted therapy with her dog BRUIN at various hospitals throughout Los Angeles.

Staci Levine

Growing up in the fashion industry, Staci worked in various showrooms at the California Mart and landed a position with The Cherokee Apparel Group in 1985. There she worked in various positions including merchandising, design, marketing and advertising and left the company in her final position as marketing director for the footwear division. After eight years with Cherokee, Staci moved to Chinese Laundry Footwear as marketing director. Pursuing her passion for surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding, Staci joined SnL Communications in 1996 with the goal of creating an action sports division within the company. With the success of this new division, she became partner in January 2000 and created a team of SnL action sport specialists to service the needs of this growing industry.

Catherine Donovan

Born and raised in California, Catherine is a triathlete and student of yoga. A graduate of U.C. Davis, Catherine had her first taste of the PR industry as a lobbyist in Sacramento before launching her own southern California-inspired handbag design company in San Diego. Intrigued by the apparel industry, she went on to work in merchandising for Juicy Couture and most recently as marketing director for the outdoor and lifestyle apparel brand Gramicci. In 2007, Catherine joined SnL as a senior account executive and in 2010 was promoted to account director.

Stephanie Weber

Stephanie was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism with a degree in Public Relations. She gained PR experience and knowledge of sport culture while she worked as an intern in the public relations department at Nike, Inc. She moved to Southern California because of her love for surfing and her decision to pursue a career in the action sports industry. After working as an account executive at a public and investor relations firm in San Diego, Stephanie joins the action sports division at SnL Communications.

Laura Doherty

Born in California, Laura was raised in Los Angeles and later in Orange County. She recently graduated from Cal State University of Fullerton with a Bachelor degree in Communications with a public relations emphasis. After several internships including a stop at Vans, Laura learned that her passion lied in public relations, specifically in the worlds of fashion and action sports and joined the SnL team in 2008.

Allison Trapani

Allie was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia with a bachelor's degree in marketing. After several marketing/PR internships in sports and fashion on the east coast, Allie moved to California to pursue her career while enjoying a warmer climate and plenty of sun. She landed a job at Dualstar Entertainment Group as a publicity assistant working on the Mary Kate and Ashley brands. In the spring of 2009, Allie joined the SnL team supporting all areas of business.

Kelley Meidroth

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Kelley Meidroth grew up immersed in board sports fashion and culture, so it was only natural that she would gravitate toward a career in action sports. She began her career at Oakley, Inc., as the company's receptionist and quickly propelled her way into advertising and communications positions. Four years later, Kelley took on a newly created position at an emerging skate shoe brand out of Melbourne, Australia called Globe Shoes where she eventually became marketing director. After four years with Globe, Kelley joined Podium Distribution in Torrance, California where she managed public relations and media buying for DVS Shoes, Matix Clothing and Lakai Footwear and by the end of her six year stint became Senior Marketing Manager for DVS Shoes. Kelley joined SnL as Account Director in 2010.

Natasha Bakir

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Natasha has grown up living the action sports lifestyle. Immersed in the surf culture of Southern California beaches, Natasha is an avid lover all things ocean, including paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing and bodysurfing. A graduate of California State University Fullerton, Natasha has a Bachelor in Arts degree with an emphasis in Public Relations. In combining her love of action sports with her budding career in public relations, Natasha found SnL Communications to be a perfect fit. She joined the SnL team in April 2010, further utilizing her passions for public relations, fashion and the action sports industry.
